Why You Need CoQ10 and Vitamin C

While heart disease once favored men and was even called "a widow maker", it is now the leading cause of death in the United States for both men and women. However, medical research continues to look for ways to prevent this. Some of these studies have found that we lose CoQ10 in our heart muscle as we age and this loss is significant.

Although it was small, a Swedish study discovered that heart patients who died within six months had much lower levels of CoQ10 in their blood, than those who survived.

And Dr. Karl Folkers, the Director of the Institute for Biomedical Research at the University of Texas at Austin, studied patients with cardiomyopathy, a serious heart problem that often leaves patients needing a heart transplant. When the patients were given COQ10, the death rates dropped.

CoQ10 has also been found to be extremely helpful in lowering high blood pressure.

CoQ10 is present in small quantities in seafood, eggs, all fruits and vegetables. However, it is estimated that the average person ingests only 5 mg. of CoQ10 per day. This amount is considered too low to satisfy the body's needs. This is particularly true of people over fifty years old. Even at middle age, people have only 20% of the CoQ10 which they had in their twenties. - See Why You Need CoQ10 and Vitamin C for the complete article.

Pot Racks - Don't Be Afraid to Hang Things Up

There is something to be said about being able to take advantage of overhead space if you have it available to you. When you are talking about available space in your kitchen, the best thing you can do to maximize your kitchen experience is to use the space wisely. Instead of breaking your back to bend down into your lower cabinets for your cooking utensils, hang them up by using lovely pot racks! They're a great choice for adding to your kitchen space.

Reaching up for your favorite non-stick pan or a copper pot that you would like to use is obviously much easier than rummaging through drawers, pantries or cabinets. By having the pots and pans that you use the most hanging above your cooking space using pot racks, then you can simply reach up and grab for one whenever you may need it.

Besides, some of the styles of pot racks are so incredible, you are pretty much adding to the beauty of your kitchen and cooking space at the same time! For instance, you can get one crafted from hammered steel with a simple and stunning design that is perfect addition to just about any kitchen. - See Pot Racks - Don't Be Afraid to Hang Things Up for the complete article.

Taking Kids Camping

Taking kids camping is a fun and exciting adventure for everyone involved. Camping outdoors with the family is a tradition that has been revered among the American culture, but especially in the last 50 years or so. If you are planning a family camping trip that involves bringing along the kids, there are many things that you should know and understand prior to jumping in the car and driving to the campsite. This guide will allow you some insight on these important considerations.

1. If you are planning on taking the kids camping, it is important to understand right up front that they may not have the same passion as you do when it comes to bicycling, hiking, swimming, fishing, and all of the other interests that can be pursued when in the great outdoors. It is always a good idea to tailor the camping trip around the kids, and their interests rather than your own. This way, they can really get a lot of enjoyment out of the trip.

2. When you go on a camping trip with your children, it is important to understand that you should fill your parental role, but you should also be a friend too. It is important to guide your children so that they learn and they are safe, but it is also important to get down on their level and explore the new territory together. You can do many activities together, like fishing, swimming, and more! This will help make the trip even more memorable.

3. When taking the kids camping, be absolutely certain that you prepare a detailed first aid kit. You should include items like peroxide, alcohol, bandages, sunburn treatment, acetominophen, wraps, and more. Accidents can occur at any time while you are enjoying the great outdoors. In many cases, you may be a long way from any type of hospital or medical facility. It is always best to be prepared for the unexpected. When packing your first aid kit, be certain that you bring along a cell phone just in case a situation arises in which it is needed. Even if you think you'll be out of range of cell phone service you may just get lucky and be within range just when you need it. (One cell phone tip: keep the cell phone off while out "in the woods", that way your battery won't run down when you need it the most.) - See Taking Kids Camping for the complete article.

EU Limits CO2 Emissions - Is This a Joke?

The European Union promises to cut twenty percent in carbon dioxide emissions, but is this really going to help the Earth's Atmosphere or even appease the Global Warming Alarmists. A reduction of 20% is very little considering China increases every two years by the EUs proposed 20% reduction by 2020. Still, the EU is billing it as the "20-20-20" climate plan.

Worse, the unions and labor parties in Europe are even complaining about that. Meanwhile both China and India are refusing to participate in a cap-and-trade program, which the Obama Administration proclaims is the answer. If the US goes for the cap-and-trade, and China and India don't then the overall CO2 output will still go up Worldwide, but the United States' economy will suffer, along with her manufacturing base.

And energy costs in the US will go up, thus making companies less competitive. The EU sees this problem too, and thus, they have the "20-20-20" plan, which is to save us from Global Warming but in name only. - See EU Limits CO2 Emissions - Is This a Joke? for the complete article.

Can We Blame Spoons For Weight Gain?

It is so nice to have someone to blame for something.

It seems that by blaming someone else, or even something for a problem or disaster, the individual is absolved from any blame.

Now, how many out there would like your weight problem to be blamed on someone or something else.

I have good news for you. It the spoons fault. If you have spoons in your kitchen, get rid of them NOW! Spoons will just make you fat.

If you eat with a fork, the fork may also be to blame. Get rid of the forks NOW!

My father in law used to eat his black eyed peas with a knife. If you happen to be one of those rare talented people who eats with a knife, then you better get rid of the knife NOW! Your weight loss depends on it.

If you get rid of all silverware/eating utensils in your home, you should lose ten pounds by the end of the week. Your muscles will probably firm without exercise. Your waist line will shrink the most of all. Your posture will improve as well. The world will be a better place. (IF that doesn't work, you might consider breaking all your fingers so you can't pick up pizza or hamburgers, and banning straws from all supermarkets so you will not be able to suck up milk shakes either.)

By getting rid of your eating utensils, you will have taken control of your future and made the world a better place to live. YOU will have made the world a better and healthier place.

Now, how would you like to live in a world without crime? - See Can We Blame Spoons For Weight Gain? for the complete article.

Asset Protection And Fraudulent Transfer

According to information provided by http://www.plan-my-estate.com an estate planning and asset protection resource web site, a Fraudulent Transfer aka Fraudulent Conveyance is a transfer which a debtor makes for the purpose of defeating a creditor's collection efforts against the debtor. This typically happens when, say, a debtor attempts to "sell" everything to his wife, cousin or business partner for $5 to keep his stuff out of the hands of his creditors. If the court figures out that the transaction is a sham to defeat the creditor, the court will set aside the transaction and make the person holding the assets give them to the creditor. Basically, Fraudulent Transfer Law is this: You can't do anything which would impair the rights of your unsecured creditors, if you do then the courts will simply ignore what you have done.

There are thousands of individuals and companies that, through e:mails or via internet web sites, offer to help you protect your assets from creditors, ex spouses and or taxing authorities. Many of these individuals and businesses help you protect your assets by having you take actions that can or will put you in violation of the Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act. This could, in the long run, not only end up causing you to lose the assets that you were trying to protect but also cost you additional money in court costs, attorney's fees or collection costs. Additionally, if you had a family member or friend help you, he or she could end up in court or having his or her credit harmed by having a judgment entered against him or her. - See Asset Protection And Fraudulent Transfer for the complete article.

How to Talk to the Police if Your Suspected of a Crime

If you’re suspected of a crime, the police can come to your house or work or find you on the street to talk to you. Usually it will be a detective in plain clothes in an unmarked car who will want to talk to you. You might find a card from the detective under your door, or a message on your phone from him asking you to call.

You always have the right to remain silent, as anything you say to a police detective will be used against you in court. You also have the right to be represented by an attorney when talking with the police.

Just because a detective comes around looking for you doesn’t mean you have to speak to him or see him at the police precinct. If the detective is at your door, you don’t have to open it for him unless he has a warrant. If a detective is knocking at your door, you don’t have to answer. You can wait until he leaves if you want and then of course call your attorney.

Usually, a detective will hound you to come into the precinct headquarters to "talk". But once you set foot into the precinct, the detective will have you at his mercy, where he can use different routines - such as "good cop/bad cop" - or violate your rights just enough to be "legal" to get you to talk. Maybe he’ll take your backpack from you or other property you came in with like your cell phone, then direct you to wait for him, leaving you alone in a room for what could feel like a lifetime. He may even ask you to write your version of the story down and then use that against you later. - See How to Talk to the Police if Your Suspected of a Crime for the complete article.

Get a Prenuptial Agreement before Your Next Marriage

While signing a prenuptial agreement can be one of the all-time romantic turnoffs, for people heading into their second marriage, a prenuptial agreement can give the trade-off of a better relationship through the security of financial and life planning.

A prenuptial agreement is a legal contract between two people about to marry, specifying how assets will be distributed in the event of divorce or death. A prenuptial agreement is a good idea, even if you aren’t rich or own a home. It saves future arguments and can even save you money.

A prenuptial agreement requires that each partner prepare an inventory of assets owned before the marriage, and it allows you to establish your separate priorities about those assets.

Even if you do nothing more than that in your prenuptial agreement, this gives children from a previous marriage a chance to have half of that property and establish what belonged to Mom or Dad before the second marriage, and it establishes what you're taking with you should you leave the marriage." - See Get a Prenuptial Agreement before Your Next Marriage for the complete article.

Give Golf a Chance

Golf has long been looked at as an elitist sport - something not everyone can enjoy. However, it is fast becoming popular and more and more people are taking this up as a sport. The increasing number of golf clubs, golf accessories, and learning instructions for those who wish to learn this sport only make it easier for anyone who desires to learn.

Golf is also often seen as a mundane sport - compared to other ball sports, that is. There is very little tension, no thumping heart, no BP rising or other such phenomena that seem to occur with sports such as baseball, basketball or football. As such, not many non-players will avidly watch the game. Nevertheless, understanding the terminology of the game, its rules and regulations and maybe trying it out once in a while will help one get an idea of what kind of a game it is.

Golf essentially is a game of stroke. The player uses a golf club made of iron, wood or steel to play the ball into any one of the (usually) eighteen holes on a 'golf course'. In this sense, golf is different from all other ball games since its area is not determined. The golf course is usually spread over many acres and the design of each one is quite different. Often a large effort, planning and money is put into designing and maintaining golf courses and most of them are also becoming tourist attractions and places of leisure and relaxation. - See Give Golf a Chance - Golf - Golfing Tips And Information

Lower Back Exercises for Golf- Golf - Golfing Tips And Information

These preventative steps incorporate a series of golf fitness flexibility and strength exercises. The goal of these exercises is to create the supportive base in terms of flexibility and strength within the musculature of the lower back to support the golf swing.

First and foremost the process by which the lower back becomes injured from golf is quite simple. Each swing of the club requires the golfer to draw the club through a large range of motion, maintain a set spine angle, and generate power. In order to complete these physical tasks correctly a specific level of flexibility and strength is required of the lower back. If the golfer lacks the required flexibility or strength to execute these physical actions the lower back will be stressed more than necessary. This will lead to fatigue and possible injury to the lower back.

Secondly, the golf swing is a repetitive athletic action. The swing is executed over and over again utilizing the same muscles. Over time these muscles become fatigued. Once muscles are fatigued, they can easily become injured. This statement holds true for the lower back as well as all the other muscles of the body incorporated with the swing. To counteract fatigued in the lower back created by the golf swing, it is necessary for one to develop the strength and endurance parameters of these muscles. This result again can be accomplished by the completion of golf specific strength exercises. - See Lower Back Exercises for Golf - Golf - Golfing Tips And Information for the complete article.

How to Look After Your Bamboo Plant - Gardening Tips And Information

The bamboo plant is actually a type of grass that is found mainly in the tropical regions of the world. As such, these plants have acclimatized to areas with warm weather and high rainfall. They are beautifully simple plants and for this reason, many people choose to grow them indoors. Bamboo is a relatively easy plant to care for if you follow a number of tips.

How Do You Take Care Of These Things?

To ensure that your bamboo remains healthy, you must first realize that they need high humidity and warmth. If you keep this in mind, the rest will follow.

When you have purchased your bamboo, situate it in a spot that is sheltered, but has a balance of light and shade. This will allow the plant to acclimatize to living indoors. Do not fertilize the bamboo when you get it home as it was most probably already fertilized in the nursery. - See How to Look After Your Bamboo Plant - Gardening Tips And Information for the full article.

Punished For Doing the Right Thing

People are beginning to catch on about the stimulus bill and all the bailouts that our government is so freely handing out. Those of us that live within our means are having to pay for the irresponsible behavior of those that chose to live on the credit bubble. Well the bubble has burst and guess who's getting rewarded? Not those of us who make a practice of doing the right thing. The right thing in this case is only buying what we can afford and living up to our obligations. The mortgage bailouts are nothing more than an entitlement program, redistributing our money to the irresponsible.

I for one resent the fact that I am being punished for doing the right thing and living up to my obligations. My parents raised me to be responsible and to plan for the future. While I do genuinely feel for the people that are suffering through foreclosure or the threat of foreclosure, I don't believe that we should be forced to pay for their poor planning. - See Punished For Doing the Right Thing for the complete article.
